Florida College Scholarships Help Single Mothers

Florida scholarships have been set up with a variety of criteria to give all students the chance to meet their educational goals. With the variety of scholarships available in Florida, single mothers can apply for all the ones for which they are eligible for funds to help pay for education expenses.
Here are some of the Florida single mother scholarship opportunities available to apply for. Along with the help of other forms of financial aid, Florida single mom scholarship funds will help single mother achieve their educational goals.
The Florida Association of Post-Secondary Schools and Colleges Scholarship Program awards up to $3,500 each year to up to 225 freshmen undergraduate students attending a Florida college. This scholarship is aimed at younger students who have recently graduated or received their GED. To qualify, you must have at least a 2.0 GPA or higher, or have been awarded a GED between March and February of the previous school year.
The American Cancer Society, Florida Division ROCK College Scholarship Program awards $1,850 to $2,300 each year to 150-175 undergraduate students attending a Florida college.
The Critical Teacher Shortage Tuition Reimbursement-Florida awards $702 to $2,808 each year to a varied number of undergraduate and graduate students attending a Florida college.
The Ethics in Business Scholarship awards varied amounts each year to a varied number of undergraduate students attending a Florida college.
The Florida Scholarship awards up to $1,000 each year to freshmen undergraduate students attending a Florida college.
The Florida Women's State Golf Association Junior Girls' Scholarship Fund awards $2,500 to $5,000 each year to 1-4 undergraduate students attending a Florida college.
The Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship-Florida awards up to $1,500 each year to 1,400 freshmen undergraduate students attending a Florida technical college.
The Salute to Education, Inc. awards $1,000 each year to 200-240 undergraduate students who are residents of select Florida counties.
The Selby Scholar Program awards up to $5,000 each year to undergraduate students who are residents of Florida.
The Thomas William Bennett Memorial Scholarship awards $750 to $2,500 each year to avaried number of undergraduate students attending a Florida college and majoring in education.
